Some symbols consist of “01 simple” e.g. as in cards and actionsheets. This is not the same as normal. Normal refers to the size and state of the component - the component’s normal size and normal state. But simple has nothing to do with sizes and states. Simple is the simplest form a component can have with fewer details compared to the other forms.
Some symbol has a compact version. The compact is usually used when then user uses a pointing device such as a mouse rather than touch. However, a compact item is still accessible in terms of the touch area. This means that you can give the item a smaller hight without changing the title-size or value-size.
